What is ODIS?

ODIS stands for Offboard Diagnostic Information System. It is a powerful piece of diagnostics software developed by Volkswagen Group.

ODIS Diagnostics Software connects directly to Volkswagen Group remote servers and allows authorised users to perform advance diagnostics tasks.

Volkswagen Group comprises twelve vehicle brands: Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Scania and MAN.

Features

ODIS Component Protection

VAG group introduced component protection to eliminate the use of stolen parts. With ODIS Diagnostics we can remove component protection.

ODIS Key Coding / Programming

With ODIS diagnostics we can code in new keys and remove old keys when you've lost one. We can order new genuine keys and code them in.

ODIS Software Updates

Volkswagen Group are constantly updating the software of modules, we have access to these updates and with ODIS Diagnostics we can update any module.

ODIS Module Coding

We can code modules using ODIS Diagnostics. Coding for the ABS module is something we see all the time, this module can only be coded using ODIS.

ODIS Immobiliser Matching

On newer vehicles the gearbox / transmission is integrated with the immobiliser, if the transmission were to be replaced it would need ODIS diagnostics to pair up all modules. The same applys to other modules too such as the Instrument cluster.

We also have access to manufacturers TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins) and erWin (electronic repair and workshop information).
